Energized to pray…

…energized to vote!

This week we are watching the key addresses from the Republican National Convention – what “a breath of fresh air”!

Also, this week we began praying the Novena for Faithful Citizenship during Vespers and will continue to do so the next nine weeks (except during our Septenary and the Novena for St. Paul of the Cross) as our nation prepares for election day. I invite you to join us in this powerful prayer asking for deliverance from all forms of evil.

Don’t miss Fr. Frank Pavone’s blog entry for September 3, 2008. May the Holy Spirit “energize” the people of our nation “to pray and fast so that the power from on high will break down the walls of lies and deceit: the walls which conceal from the sight of so many of our brothers and sisters the evil practices and laws which are hostile to life. May this same power turn their hearts to resolutions and goals inspired by the civilization of life and live.” ( Pope John Paul II – Evangelium Vitae #100)

We'd love to hear from you...
